Delete your Vaultsum data

Vaultsum only has an account if you use Groups, the optional shared-expenses feature. The personal expense tracker has no account, and its data never leaves your phone.

Delete your Groups account in the app

Open Vaultsum and tap the Groups tab.
Tap the profile icon (top right).
Tap Delete Groups account and confirm.

This deletes the following straight away:

your profile (display name and UPI ID);
your device's notification tokens;
your sign-in.

What is kept, and how to remove it

Expenses and settlements that you added to a shared group stay visible to the other members of that group, along with your name. Keeping them means the other members' balances still add up.

To have those records removed too, email vaultsum.app@gmail.com from any device and include the Google email (or the phone number) you signed in with. We delete them within 30 days and reply to confirm. You can use this route even if you no longer have the app.

Personal expense data

Your accounts, transactions, budgets and attachments are stored only on your phone, and we hold no copy. To erase them, go to Settings → Clear all data or uninstall the app.
